A devoted Daughter expresses her loving feelings & memories at her Mother's passing.
My Dearest Mother,
To have had such a strong willed & determined child like me could not have been too easy those first few years. However, you found joy with me & always seemed so proud.
You were not a strong disciplinarian & allowed me to learn self-discipline. Instead of demanding I do something, you would say "I really think if would be best if you did it this way". Then after some huffin & puffin on my part, you told me I always ended up doing the right thing. That way of teaching me has made me a stronger person, able to make decisions throughout my life.
I have always respected & loved you. You have been compassionate with all people, never judging & always considering others feelings. You would put yourself in their place & rationalize why they did what they did. I have found that to be a great lesson in life.
I wish I had been as wonderful at motherhood as you have been. You truly are a Saint! Never cursing, lying, cheating or putting others down to pull yourself up. You have been a great example.
I will always be grateful to God that you had a peaceful passing. Also that I was able to hold you & tell you how much I have always loved you. The Angles did come for you & I wonder if you were able to see Dad, Grandma & Grandpa Randy & Aunt Eleanor. I picture you happy with all of your past loved ones.
Now that you are not in daily pain, perhaps you will be able to dance to Heavens music all that you desire.
I truly believe in God & that His Son Jesus died for us on the holy cross for our sins so that we would have everlasting life. This is what gives me peace inside.
God had been trying to prepare you & me for this time through the past year. As always, you went out in style. I miss you terribly, but it's OK. You are with me & others in our hearts.
Your family loves you. Until I can hold you again, thank you for being such a wonderful mother & person.

Did you know that Steven Baldwin, yes Alex Baldwin the outspoken left winger's younger brother, is a believer! In fact all of his other 5 brothers are lefties.
But in an interview on Fox appearing in a "Jars of Clay" T-shirt, he professes his conversion to the belief in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior... What?
When asked if he supports George W. Bush for president he said: "I will vote for the man with the most faith. The one who believes in being guided by his belief in the Lord. That is what is important to me."
Yes, in fact he goes on to say that there is a whole new generation of young believers. He believes so much in his mission for Christ that he has made a new movie " Livin it" targeted to young people to bring them into the Kingdom.
Now this is not a praise for Steven Baldwin, it is a testament to Jesus Christ's saving power. Steven's nature has clearly changed. His "want to's" are different. He wants to serve his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and says so unashamed. Wow!
That's the wonderful, merciful saving faith of the one true God of the Bible.
