ONE THING LEADS TO ANOTHER!

There is a battle for the hearts of Americans and all the world going on right now. It's been going on for decades but right now…It's zooming forward on a headlong path to ultimate destruction! Below is an outline of how one choice leads to another.

Only a half generation ago, Time magazine came out with the cover story Is God dead.  Many would like Him to be dead, buried and out of the way and others say
"there is no God". This view is called:

    A. Secularism- Secularism starts the mud ball rolling. It says that as there is no God, we should be able to do what we want, what ever feels good to us because there is no eternal consequence anyway. This naturally leads to the view of:

    B. Relativism-Relativism means there is no real truth. All things are relative. It's just you and your belief, so leave me alone. I don't impose my belief on any body so you should keep yours to yourself. Just live and let live. As and example, this thinking has led to no prayer in school. The godless ACLU wants God out of any public building or even on public grounds. Think about it, Christians are now considered worse than smokers! Now, as you can see, this would automatically lead to a "ME "attitude called:

    C. Selfism- Selfism says "I'm all that matters" I am at the top of the food chain and the master of my universe. I am capable of doing what I want, when I want, where I want and to whomever I want to because I am my own god. Well then, is that all there is?  No..No.. I just need things to go along with my own world, my stuff. That is called:

    D. Materialism-Materialism means "give me more stuff and I'll be happy" More & more things to fill the void created by just being the great "ME". Well maybe there is more, maybe there is someone out there. "Is anyone out there?" So we try the physic hotlines and the guy on TV who can contact your dead uncle. And this is called:

    E. Mysticism-Secular (there is no God) mysticism is clogging up late night infommertials  with promises of personal love and life predictions. How about in outer space, how about the inner me, or how about the dear departed.."I bet they have some answers" .

All the above, A. through E., leads to only one thing; The death of the soul!
This happens because once a person rejects the truth and makes the wrong choices, that person is open to all sorts of error.

Friends, once a person doesn't wish to have the protection of  THE almighty God of the Bible, the creator and giver of life in ones personal life, that person inadvertently allow the evil ideas of this world to creep in and grow larger and larger. That person then obliviously gives more and more room for relativism to grow and thrive in their life until they can no longer see the real TRUTH for what it is.

Now the lies of society and liberal world opinion that grows like a cancer overtakes reason and justice and makes it's own rules as it goes along. Until at the end of its lustful time on earth, the host body dies, the great lie is exposed and the reality of an eternity separated from God almighty is realized. It's Hell!

What are my choices?
Don't let anything or anybody con you into thinking there is no consequence to the wrong choices you make here on earth. There is!
Don't believe the great deception of this life that there may be a Heaven and if there is, we can all get there our own way. You can't!
But Hell...that's just a joke. The Devil is that funny little guy in the red suit.
And even if their was a real Hell, surely no good, loving God would send anybody to Hell.
No He won't…you will!

When you chose to leave God and the truth of His Word out of your life here on earth... He got your message!  Yes, one thing does leads to another.

Make the right choice…Find out how.

The Silly Goose

As I and a friend took a morning walk in a nearby park by the lake, we walked by a throng of honking Canadian geese surrounding the overflowing trash cans from the weekend picnics. Scattered around were several unopened bags of hamburger and hotdog buns some picnicker had thoughtlessly discarded.

One gander had claimed a bag of buns for himself and was beating the unopened but crumbled buns on the pavement without any success in freeing the contents. He continued the relentless pounding and shaking attempting to open the bag to get to the bread inside. Meanwhile, all the other geese were loudly and impatiently waiting for him to unleash the treat.

My friend said, Ahhh…we need to help them!

I agreed and approached the goose to lend a helping hand.  As jealous, territorial geese do, he did not take my attempt as a  friendly gesture; instead he postured, hissed and lunged at me aggressively showing his discontent.

Knowing he was just a scared and possessive silly goose, I tried to distract he and his noisy friends away for just a moment so that I could open the plastic bag and give them the bread inside.

He continued to let me know in no uncertain terms, that bag of food was his. That he was not allowing me to take it from him and he would work it out himself without any help from me.

I finally got a stick and managed to work one of the other unopened bags of buns to within reach. I opened it and threw the contents to all the excited, honking geese. The gander immediately left his bag of personal ravaged treasure and joined the crowd of his fellow geese in a bun feast as I unleashed all the contents of the several bags to them.

As we walked away, I began to think about that silly goose.  I begin to think about me.

A goose is ruled by natural survival instincts given by God for self preservation. I, on the other hand, have been given a mind to reason and a free will to choose. As a child of God, I know that He knows what's best for me, how to help me and give all that I need in abundance to myself and those around me. All I have to do is trust His helping hand.

I thought about all that and it suddenly dawned on me... I'm just a silly goose!

I ask for God to bless me, I say that I'm giving my needs over to him and I really mean it. But yet, sometimes staring help defiantly in the face, I stubborn up and I take the burden back selfishly and pridefully thinking "I can do it myself".

God just wants to abundantly bless us. He looks down on our situation, sees our needs and reaches down to bestow on us all that we need. Yet we fight Him tooth and claw because we are afraid to let go, even for a moment, the tiny tidbit of earthly resources we are holding. How silly…He can open up the Heavens to us and pour out such a blessing that we cannot contain it.  All we have to do is trust Him.

Therefore take no thought saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:31-33

Trust that he already gave us the bread of Heaven in His Son Jesus Christ.
